Hey guys! I have been gone for a while. To say the least, I have put my blog on the back burner because I had finals and I started my summer off by focusing on my Youtube channels. However, I am back and I want to update you guys on what I have been up to. I recently made a summer bucket list and I plan on trying to check off as many things as possible and hopefully I can document it here and on my vlog channel. I am also doing a bit of traveling this summer so I plan on sharing that with you all. Let me know any other types of blog posts you would like to see. I also somewhat revamped the style of my blog and I am not sure if I completely love it haha, but it will do the job. Anyway, now to what I have been doing… For today’s blog post, I wanted to share with you all a couple of fun days I have had throughout the summer thus far so that you can see what I have been doing.
Grace and I even went to the Farmer’s Market one morning and had brunch together! It was so much fun. I picked out some blueberries, strawberries, and a slice of watermelon. My mouth was seriously watering! It was so good.
We had an AMAZING brunch at this local cafe and I had the blueberry compote waffles and they were so refreshing for summer. Grace got the same meal as me, but she did not hold the cream cheese syrup like me.
The interior of the cafe was honestly adorable!
I had a super fun photoshoot at a cute restaurant in my town and I seriously have been loving all the patterns for summer. Especially gingham print, which was super popular last summer, but I plan on continuing to wear it lol.
Thank you for catching up with me! I hope you guys enjoyed this blog post. I promise I have more to come this summer and make sure to check out my vlog channel and main channel to get to know me better.
A couple weeks ago I attended Playlist Live for the second time. I had such a great time last year that I decided to go again because it is a truly amazing convention. This year was a rough start if you watched my vlogs on my vlog channel, but it definitely improved. I made so many memories with my internet friends and meeting creators I have watched for years. Along the way, I even learned a few new techniques for editing and went to some educational panels about the business. In today’s blog post, I am going to be sharing with you guys some of my favorite memories from my trip to Orlando.
I started off the weekend on Friday but going to Magic Kingdom for the day. We rode some awesome rides including Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion, and Space Mountain. To watch the vlog from this day check it out here!
We even dined at The Crystal Palace and I got to meet Piglet, Pooh, Tigger, and Eeyore.
We went to get Dole Pineapple Whip in adventure land to cool off from the Floridian heat haha.
On Saturday, I started off the day by heading to my meet up at Playlist Live. The convention was held at The Orlando World Center Marriott. The resort is honestly spectacular and so convenient to the event. I went to the Hubert’s Lemonade stand because they were giving away free lemonade. It was so good btw 🙂 I highly suggest it. I vlogged the whole day so make sure to check it out here!
I also decided to get an acai bowl for lunch that day from the Purple Ocean food truck and let me just say, IT WAS AMAZING!
Then, I hung out with some new friends and filmed an epic collab! Make sure to check it out if you haven’t already!
On Sunday, it was the last day of Playlist so I decided to make the most of it by taking pictures with my friend Olivia, Megan, and Alex! It was so much fun and I actually got to connect with people as extra as me for pictures haha. We all pitched in and bought a pineapple with a strawberry daiquiri. The funniest part was that it was spilling everywhere and was super sticky, but it was definitely worth it because we got the cutest pictures. To see the behind the scenes of these photos click here!
Later that day, I had a meet up with KKandbabyj and they are seriously the most genuine people I have ever met. Khoa and Keran are so down to earth and if you haven’t checked them out you definitely should. It was a long wait to meet them, but it was definitely worth it with my youtube friend Alex Jayne in line with me. After, we got some super cute pictures at a food truck.
Overall, I had an amazing time at Playlist and I even met a couple of you guys! I am already counting down the days till next year because it is such a fun event!
Hey guys! It has been a hot minute since I have written a blog post, but I am here to bring you another one. For today’s blog post I wanted to share with you all some of my easy go to hairstyles since summer is coming up. All of the hairstyles are fitting for the summer weather since it will be pretty hot outside. I wore theses hairstyles at Playlist Live and I got a ton of compliments on them and the best part is that they are super easy to do. I don’t have much experience (if any) with hairstyles because I usually just straighten or curl my hair so this was definitely a little out of my comfort zone, but they turned out looking really nice. To see a full tutorial on the hairstyles make sure to check out my Youtube video on them because I go into depth on how to do them.
For the first hairstyle I wanted to do something easy, but cute at the same time so I just put my hair in a half up half down pony tail. Then, I braided the pieces of hair and added a layer effect to the sides and front pieces by pulling out some of the pieces. Overall, it is a super cool hairstyle that is perfect for the summer weather.
Moving on to the next hairstyle, I went with a simple low bun with some pieces of my hair hanging down in the front. This hairstyle is great for the hot weather because it gets your hair out of your face and it looks cute at the same time. The hairstyle is super easy to do and basically you just put your hair in a low bun and then pull pieces out of the front of your hair. I just love this hairstyle for hot summer days!
Finally, for the third hairstyle, I decided to do a half up half down bun. I just separated half my hair and then twisted it into a bun. Then, I used a hair tie and some bobby pins to seal it in place. This is another great hairstyle to keep your hair out of your face, but have it still down. It is perfect for a special occasion to dress up a look or for a chill day running errands.
I hope you guys got some inspiration on some of my favorite hairstyles I will be doing throughout this upcoming summer. Make sure to check out my in depth video on it to learn how to fully do the hairstyles!
A couple weeks ago I went to Naples, Florida and I wanted to share some of my adventures while on the trip. If you ever travel to Naples, Florida here are some fun things to do while you are there.
1. Stay at the La Playa Beach and Golf Resort
For my trip, I stayed at the La Playa Beach and Golf Resort for the duration of the vacation. Let me just say, this resort is one of my most favorite resorts I have ever been to because it is so convenient to the beach access, town, and restaurants. I have stayed there twice and we loved it so much last time we decided to come back again. The La Playa is perfect for families visiting for vacation or just friends on break. The staff is extremely friendly and outgoing and their restaurants are fabulous. They are great with getting the food out fast and have awesome service. On top of that they are very flexible with eating restrictions such as being vegetarian or vegan. The hotel also has a great fitness and spa with unbelievable amenities. Overall, the hotel is amazing and the rooms are available as beach front or pool front.
2. Eat breakfast at Baleen at La Playa Beach and Golf Resort
The breakfast and all the food at the La Playa is awesome. My favorite meal of the day is breakfast and they definitely met my standards. Most of the days I got the waffles with berries on the side and syrup. For a beverage, I recommend their tropical smoothie. I got it everyday I was there and I am craving one right now as I am typing this haha. My mom said she would recommend the eggs benedict or the omelet. The oatmeal is awesome there too!
3. Get acai bowls at the Bowl
If you are subscribed to my vlog channel you probably know that I am obsessed with smoothie bowls. I watched one of Aspyn Ovard’s videos that she filmed while in Naples and she actually went to the Bowl so I thought I would try it out. They have AMAZING smoothie bowls and I wish we had something like it where I live. Even my mom liked it and she isn’t a health nut like me so that says something. I got the Beach pitaya bowl and my mom got the Key West acai bowl. If you are in the mood for a great breakfast or snack definitely check it out.
4. Visit or Stay at the Ritz Carlton in Naples
Another great hotel is the Ritz Carlton in Naples, Florida. The atmosphere is so pretty and the interior design is best described as “old world” I suppose. It definitely has a vintage vibe to the decor. I heard from an Uber driver that Naples is the only town with two Ritz Carltons in one town and that people from all around the world are trained at the Naples location. We didn’t stay there, but we went to dinner at The Grill on our last night of the trip and it was fantastic. I got the salmon and asparagus. They also have a pretty pool area and tons of amenities for families. The night I went there was a thunderstorm moving into Naples so I had to take my pictures pretty quick and the wind was extremely fierce. Overall, the resort has a ton to offer, but for my conclusion I think it is more geared towards adults staying there and I think the La Playa is more family/kid friendly in my own personal opinion.
6. Go to the Waterside Shops at Naples
I have been to Naples two times and every time I visit I have to go to the Waterside Shops because they have such a great layout. Most of the shops are designer stores and are out of my price range, but there are definitely still some good finds there. While I was there this past trip, my mom and I went to lunch at True Food. All the food was so fresh and healthy. I got the vegan tomato and arugula pizza and my mom got the salmon rice bowl. I highly recommend it and I wish we had one where I live.
7. Watch the sunset on the Gulf
I have seen the sunset all throughout the world, but definitely the gulf is the most gorgeous I have seen yet. The crystal clear blue water mixed with the peach and orange tones of the sun is absolutely gorgeous. The funniest thing about watching the sunset at the La Playa is that everyone cheers and claps once it goes down haha.
8. Spend a day at the beach and pool
One thing you can’t not do when you go to Naples is swim in the ocean or the pool. The Florida sun is so hot and it is extremely humid so my favorite way to cool off is in the pretty water. I enjoyed myself immensely on this trip soaking up all the sun I could and getting pretty tan while I was at it!
Thank you for reading this blog post! I really enjoyed creating it and I hope you get some more inspiration if you are heading to Naples. Hey guys! I recently traveled to Naples, Florida for spring break and I thought I would share some of my favorite outfits I wore during the trip! I tried to keep all the outfits casual, comfy, and cute haha. I spent 5 days in Naples so I put together 5 outfits for you guys to get inspired by. Make sure to check out my travel diary so you guys can see the rest of my adventures on my trip.
The first outfit is a set from Luca and Grae. The set is $78, but it is definitely worth it in my opinion because it is good quality for what you pay for. The outfit is more of a dressy night out outfit and definitely is super comfortable for the occasion. It has a nice floral print on it that is perfect for the spring time. I am honestly obsessed with the chocker I am wearing with it as well and I wore it with every outfit on spring break. The best part is it is from Amazon and was only $10! For shoes I am wearing the Steve Madden copper Rachel shoes. They compliment the outfit perfectly.
The second outfit idea for you guys is more geared towards a day to day look, but is still really cute. I am wearing a tie up shirt from Lulus and I paired it with shorts from Gap. I am yet again wearing a disk chocker and my Steve Madden shoes because they are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn.
Depending on where you are going for spring break or if you are having a staycation you might need a swimsuit. On this day, I wore this leaf patterned one on St. Patrick’s Day because it had green on it lol. Anyway, I paired it with some sunglasses from Anthropology and the disk chocker. I just love the wrap around swimsuits from Aerie even though they are kinda complicated to figure out, but you end up getting the hang of it. The swimsuit is sadly sold out, but I linked a similar one.
Moving on, for the next outfit I went to dinner at the Ritz-Carlton so I wanted something a little bit more dressy. I picked this maxi dress out from Lulus and let me just say… it was really windy that night. There was a huge thunderstorm on the way so I had to take pictures and videos as fast as possible so my dress and hair were going every which way; However, the pictures turned out really cool. I wore my gold chocker and my Steve Madden shoes with this outfit, but I would also pair it with heels too.
Finally, the final outfit I went for a more casual look. I wore this black and white stripped romper with cut outs to go walking around the town. It is so comfortable and perfect for the Florida weather. To top it off, I wore my chocker and Steve Madden shoes. Lol by now you can probably tell that I am obsessed with those shoes and that chocker.
Thank you guys for reading this blog post and if you have any questions about any of the outfits you can contact me through Instagram. Good luck on all your spring break adventures and if you get any of the pieces I mentioned make sure to tag me on Instagram!
Happy almost spring guys! I am super excited to share this post with y’all because I just got a ton of spring clothes in the mail for my trip to Naples, Florida. Today I thought I would share with you guys my spring fashion essentials for spring 2018 since it is quickly approaching.
Fashion Outfit Essentials #1
Here is my idea go to outfit for any spring day! I love floral prints for spring time and ripped denim shorts pull the outfit together so well. The shirt is from Lulus and I was at the mall the other day and saw tons of blouses in this style so it is definitely a go to top for spring 2018. The shorts I picked out for this outfit are from Gap. For shoes I chose these copper Steve Madden Rachel shoes that are so pretty. Finally, another spring outfit essential is sunglasses. Mine are from Anthropology and I got them last summer. The necklace I chose for this outfit is super popular right now, which is the gold sequined necklace. I think it adds the perfect touch to any outfit to tie it all together.
For the second outfit I wanted to go with a more casual, but super cute look still. For spring 2018 a big staple is off the shoulder tops and stripes (or really any cute patterns). The shorts are from Charlotte Russe and have a lace fabric on the pockets. White washed jean shorts are super casual and great for every day town strolling or chilling at the beach! Finally, picked out some dainty jewelry to pull the look together.
My number one favorite thing right now for spring is rompers. They are so comfortable and easy to throw on because the outfit is basically put together for you. I found this black and white stripped one from Lulus and it is just adorable. For shoes I am wearing some simple sandals I got a few years ago.
This final outfit I don’t think you can technically consider an outfit, but it definitely has to do with spring fashion essentials haha! For spring 2018, I recommend having a few solid colored swimsuits including a black one so that you can mix and match them. I also like having a couple printed swimsuits so that I can have a bit of diversity in my collection. To keep the sun out of my face, I like the look of sun hats because they have two benefits: they are adorable and they keep the sun out of my eyes. Yet again, I put this outfit together with the Anthropology sun glasses since they really pull it together in my opinion.
Make sure to wear plenty of sunscreen and keep some aloe vera on hand! You don’t want to get burned. P.S. if you have blonde hair like me you should invest in Paul Mitchell Shampoo III because it helps get the chlorine out of my hair when it starts turning green 🙂
Hope these tips were helpful and you got some outfit inspiration for your spring wardrobe for 2018. Make sure to send me pictures of your outfits and tag me on Instagram. I also have a Youtube video where I did a haul for all my spring clothes + a spring essentials video so make sure to check it out!
