Hey guys! Since summer is in full swing now, I wanted to share with you all some of my favorite summer go to looks and outfit essentials. Last week, I was in Orlando and also New Smyrna Beach for my summer vacation and I snapped some pics of my outfits while I was there that I thought I would share with you.
Outfit #1 A Casual Day
For outfit #1, this is probably my most favorite outfit I wore the whole time on the trip. I got the top from Luca and Grae back in the spring and it actually came as a set with a skirt too, but I wanted to keep it more casual for the beach so I wore it with jean shorts. I seriously love off the shoulder tops for the summer and I paired it with some simple Billabong high waisted shorts. I also wore a straw hat from ASOS with the cutest pink ribbon. I paired this outfit with some slides from Lulus! This is the perfect outfit for a casual day or you can dress it up wearing the skirt that comes with the set.
For the next outfit, I went for a night on the town type of look, but you could totally wear a dress like this anywhere depending on what you pair with it. If you couldn’t tell my now I seriously love the hat so much. The floral print dress is perfect for the hot and humid weather and it flowy enough to be worn in the heat. The dress is from Urban Outfitters and I just got it a couple weeks ago and I have already worn it 4 times haha. I wore my Steve Madden Rachel shoes in the color copper with this dress.
For the third outfit, I don’t know if you would consider this a full on outfit, but I wanted to share with you my go to swimsuit for a day at the beach. The swimsuit is from Aerie and by now you can guess that I am wearing the hat from ASOS yet again lol.
Moving on to the next outfit, I wanted to wear a super lazy and casual outfit for one of the days in Orlando. I wore this West Coast graphic t from Forever 21 with my Billabong high waisted shorts and was good to go. I also paired it with this scarf from Anthropologie that I just love for the summer because you can put it around your neck or tie it in your hair for a cute hair style. To complete the look I wore converse with the outfit.
For the fifth outfit, I wanted to share with you one of my favorite swimsuit tops I own. I bought it from Aerie and it is so cute for pictures at the beach. I wore it with my Billabong shorts yet again and my ASOS hat. What a surprise!
For the sixth outfit, I went with a colorful skirt from Boohoo and a graphic t from Lulus that resembles the “Thank You bags” from restaurants; however, this one says Los Angeles instead. I wore my new Alex and Ani bracelet that day too and my Rachel shoes to add to the classy, but still casual vibe I was going for.
For the final outfit, I wore this black and white polka dotted dress from Lulus. I also paired it with my Rachel shoes and Alex and Ani bracelet I go that day. I really like this outfit because it is so easy to throw on without much thought into it.
Thank you guys for reading up on some of my go to outfit styles for this summer. Make sure to check out the links so you can twin with me haha. Also let me know if you want to see a back to school outfits ideas post also.
Hey guys! For today’s blog post I wanted to share some links with you all for some of the decor in my room currently. I also posted a video on my Youtube channel today so make sure to check it out to see the in depth version of my room.
The first thing you see when you walk into my room is my three mirrors from Target! I got them on sale for super cheap and I think they look so cool. My table, chair, and rug is also from Target and I seriously love the Opalhouse line currently being sold at Target stores. I used an old frame to display my sunglasses using some twine. The lamps are from West Elm I’m pretty sure and I got the dresser from a local store where I live. The basket is from Anthropologie as well as the blanket. The pillow is from Target. I love how minimalistic, but still colorful this section of my room turned out and all the decor is pretty affordable from Target!
For the next part of my room, I have my dresser that I have had since I was little so I am not exactly sure where it is from haha. I have my record player displayed, jewelry stand, and shoes all from Urban Outfitters. The mirror is from Homegoods! The circle mirror is from Target. I love this mirror since it is one of the first things you see looking into my room.
On this wall, I have this copper rod I bought from Home Depot and hung on the wall so that I could hang clothes on it as decor.
As for my desk, I bought it from a local store so I am not sure where you would be able to purchase it from. The pillow is from Target as well as all the other decor on my desk including the wall art and light.
The white rug in my room is from Homegoods and the rug in front of my print is from Pier Imports. If you were curious about the print of me, I actually got inspiration from Alisha Marie’s room that Mr. Kate did. I’ll link their blog post on it and tutorial!
Both the rugs are not available any more, but Target has some similar ones!
Thank you for reading up about my room! Make sure to check out my room tour and let me know if you end up purchasing any of the items in my room or get inspiration.
Happy almost 4th of July! I can’t believe how fast the summer is flying by. For today’s post, I wanted to share with you all some of my go to outfits for the 4th if you are needing some inspiration or are panicking to find an outfit last minute.
For the first outfit, I wanted to share with you all something really easy to throw together last minute that still looks super cute and is affordable. This outfit would be more suitable for a dressier 4th of July party and great for a get together with friends and family. I went with a romper for this one and of course it kept the stripes theme haha. I love this romper and it is the perfect amount of dressy and cute so you aren’t dying in the heat. It almost looks like a dress, but it is way more comfortable. For the shoes, I got them from Urban Outfitters for Christmas and I have been waiting for forever to find something to wear them to. I thought the 4th would be perfect since they are a silvery metallic fabric. They are actually really comfortable as well. Finally, the sunglasses were only $7 from Forever 21 and shockingly I haven’t broken them yet so I definitely would recommend. I tried to keep the same silver vibe going on with the silver lens sunglasses as well.
For the next outfit, I was inspired by the whole stripe trend going on right now because I have so many striped tops and rompers. I seriously love the top I am wearing and I just got it in the mail the other day and it is already one of my favorite pieces in my closet. I definitely plan on wearing it again when I go to Orlando next week. I didn’t get a picture of the shorts and shoes I am wearing, but I will share them with you as well. The shorts are from Lulus, but the brand is Billabong, The shorts are so comfortable for being high waisted, which I am not usually a fan of since the have such a weird fit and I ordered them online so I didn’t know what to expect. For shoes, I wanted to keep the all American girl vibes I guess and went with some basic white Converse. I love how this outfit turned out and I think it is perfect for the 4th and gives off a cute, but casual vibe.
Thank you for reading up on what I’ll be wearing on the 4th and I hope you got some inspiration as well. Make sure to check out my Instagram to see more fun posts and keep up with me on my Instagram story to see what I will be doing on the 4th.
For the next essential, I suggest picking up some aloe vera because it is great for when you get burned.
Moving on, to capture your summer memories definitely get a Fujifilm Instax Mini polaroid camera because it is so easy to use and keep the memories alive.
I seriously love Lilly Pulitzer sunglasses. I think they are the cutest and they have so many patterns. The lenses are great because they keep the sun out of your eyes and they are probably one of my favorite pairs of sunglasses I own.
On the fashion side, I really love throwing any sneakers like Converse on for the day. They are perfect for any outfit including shorts and a t shirt or even a cute dress.
Another essential I have been loving for the summer is any type of a straw hat or sun hat. I think they are so cute for summer and definitely spice up any outfit. I personally love the ones on ASOS and Show Me Your Mumu.
Hey guys! Recently on my Youtube channel, I made a video on my Summer Beauty Routine for 2018. I thought it would be helpful to explain the products more in depth in a blog post so that’s what I am doing today! Make sure to check out the video here to see me use the products.
Starting out with skin care, I use a couple different products on a regular basis. On a typical day, I use my Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Face Wash twice a day to cleanse my face. Then, at night I use a dermatologist recommended moisturizer lotion and Epiduo Forte for spot treatments. On occasion, I sometimes use a Lush face mask or a Carbonated Bubble Clay Face mask. I think they are so cool to use and leave your face feeling fresh for the summer! For the video I filmed, I worked with the brand Bealuz to try out their exfoliating foot peel masks. The masks remove dead skin and are an easy way to exfoliate your feet from home rather than at the salon.
Now moving on to the makeup, I use a variety of products depending on the look I am going for that day, but I like to keep my summer makeup simple.
For foundation, I like a light and not to thick look so that it appears somewhat airbrushed if you know what I mean. I use the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear to achieve that look.
Then, for concealer I use the drugstore Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. It is probably the cheapest one I have found yet and it looks surprisingly the best in my opinion.
As for bronzer, I picked up the Benefit Hoola Bronzer because I have heard so many beauty gurus rave about it so I thought it was time I step on the band wagon lol. It definitely does wonders haha.
During the summer, I feel like my face always gets somewhat greasy and dewy from all the makeup looks I try so I like to use the Sonia Kashuk Loose Powder from Target.
Recently, I purchased the Aspyn Ovard Tarte Palette and it is seriously the best makeup purchase I have EVER made! I love it so much and it has everything all in one. From blush, highlight, to a variety of eyeshadows. It has it all! If it isn’t sold out yet, I would recommend picking it up while it lasts at Ulta. It is a limited time palette and is perfect for my skin tone so that’s just one of the reasons I love it so much. I use all of the shades on the palette actually if you were curious!
For my hair, I use a lot of products since I have bleach blonde hair. For shampoo and conditioner, I use the Obliphica Seaberry Shampoo and Conditioner from my salon. About 1-2 times a week I use the Joico Color Endure Violet purple shampoo to tone the blonde and cancel out the golden tones. If I go swimming, I use the Paul Mitchell Shampoo Three to keep my hair from turning Green since I have blonde hair. I use it immediately after I get out of the pool and get home. Finally, once a week I use Olaplex Number 3 to help my hair since I do bleach it.
I hope you guys got some more details about my summer beauty routine from this blog post! I definitely love the products and this is not sponsored in any way. You should definitely check out the products and let me know what you think. My Summer Beauty Routine video will be linked here!
Hey guys! I have been gone for a while. To say the least, I have put my blog on the back burner because I had finals and I started my summer off by focusing on my Youtube channels. However, I am back and I want to update you guys on what I have been up to. I recently made a summer bucket list and I plan on trying to check off as many things as possible and hopefully I can document it here and on my vlog channel. I am also doing a bit of traveling this summer so I plan on sharing that with you all. Let me know any other types of blog posts you would like to see. I also somewhat revamped the style of my blog and I am not sure if I completely love it haha, but it will do the job. Anyway, now to what I have been doing… For today’s blog post, I wanted to share with you all a couple of fun days I have had throughout the summer thus far so that you can see what I have been doing.
Grace and I even went to the Farmer’s Market one morning and had brunch together! It was so much fun. I picked out some blueberries, strawberries, and a slice of watermelon. My mouth was seriously watering! It was so good.
We had an AMAZING brunch at this local cafe and I had the blueberry compote waffles and they were so refreshing for summer. Grace got the same meal as me, but she did not hold the cream cheese syrup like me.
The interior of the cafe was honestly adorable!
I had a super fun photoshoot at a cute restaurant in my town and I seriously have been loving all the patterns for summer. Especially gingham print, which was super popular last summer, but I plan on continuing to wear it lol.
Thank you for catching up with me! I hope you guys enjoyed this blog post. I promise I have more to come this summer and make sure to check out my vlog channel and main channel to get to know me better.
Hey guys! It has been a hot minute since I have written a blog post, but I am here to bring you another one. For today’s blog post I wanted to share with you all some of my easy go to hairstyles since summer is coming up. All of the hairstyles are fitting for the summer weather since it will be pretty hot outside. I wore theses hairstyles at Playlist Live and I got a ton of compliments on them and the best part is that they are super easy to do. I don’t have much experience (if any) with hairstyles because I usually just straighten or curl my hair so this was definitely a little out of my comfort zone, but they turned out looking really nice. To see a full tutorial on the hairstyles make sure to check out my Youtube video on them because I go into depth on how to do them.
For the first hairstyle I wanted to do something easy, but cute at the same time so I just put my hair in a half up half down pony tail. Then, I braided the pieces of hair and added a layer effect to the sides and front pieces by pulling out some of the pieces. Overall, it is a super cool hairstyle that is perfect for the summer weather.
Moving on to the next hairstyle, I went with a simple low bun with some pieces of my hair hanging down in the front. This hairstyle is great for the hot weather because it gets your hair out of your face and it looks cute at the same time. The hairstyle is super easy to do and basically you just put your hair in a low bun and then pull pieces out of the front of your hair. I just love this hairstyle for hot summer days!
Finally, for the third hairstyle, I decided to do a half up half down bun. I just separated half my hair and then twisted it into a bun. Then, I used a hair tie and some bobby pins to seal it in place. This is another great hairstyle to keep your hair out of your face, but have it still down. It is perfect for a special occasion to dress up a look or for a chill day running errands.
I hope you guys got some inspiration on some of my favorite hairstyles I will be doing throughout this upcoming summer. Make sure to check out my in depth video on it to learn how to fully do the hairstyles!
